News and Reviews for Sexy Lingerie - From a Guy's Perspective
Howdy all! I have started this blog to let women know what a guy thinks about their lingerie. No, I won't be posting pictures of half naked women for my bar buddies to oogle at and make construction-worker esque comments....this is a serious website. I am a male (straight) in my 30's and have dated more than a few women in my lifetime. Out of all (it's not as many as it sounds) the women that I have dated, only 3 were into wearing lingerie (for me). Call me old fashioned, but I like to be teased before I see my girlfriend naked. It's kinda like not reading the reviews of a movie before you go watch it...otherwise it will spoil the movie. Same concept applies here.
The biggest complaint I hear from women is "I don't know if I will look good in this" or "I don't have the right body for this...." The problem with both of those statements is that they are cop-outs. Women do look in most lingerie outfits, where they run into trouble is buying items that are either too big (doesn't hug the body) or the design is just horrible. You really can't go wrong with stores like Victoria's Secret and the like, but you're also going to pay a higher price than other places. By buying it online you can save money, but if you don't know what you're looking for you chance buying the cheap crap made in China that will fall apart in the washing machine the first time you wash it (if you're lucky enough where it doesn't fall apart while you're wearing it).
I will not be accepting "gifts" or "donations" from any lingerie manufacturers out there. All of the products that I will be reviewing will come from various online websites. I will be buying the items (ok, so my girlfriend will be buying the items, with my credit card) and the reviews will be honest and upfront. If there's one thing that ruins a review (from a credibility standpoint) it's when a manufacturer sends the reviewer free merchandise to review. The reviewer usually feels beholden and gives a review that may not be as critical as it should be.
So there you have it. A guy. His girlfriend as a model (she's a size 6) and an honest review of various lingerie pieces and outfits on the market. I hope you enjoy this blog.
